Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah
Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah is an independent educational institute for higher Islamic education. It was established in 2008 by Amãnah Studio to create skilled, motivated and caring Huffãz and Ulama who will insha’allah lead and serve Muslim Communities of tomorrow in fulfilling their religious, moral and spiritual obligations and needs.
At Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah, our aim is to enrol students from the age of 8+ who wish to memorise (Hifz) the Glorious Qur’ãn and/or study the Aalim Course. Our courses are structured according to age-old proven traditional experiences and values with emphasis on Tajweed (correct pronunciation) and a high standard in memorisation in the Hifz course along with a sound understanding of responsibilities and protocol which a Hãfiz and future Aalim must uphold.
Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah works in association with the 'Amãnah Home Education' support program to facilitate temporal studies for students attending Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah. Established in 1991 and offering Temporal studies support at a level recognised and recommended by a number of Local Council Education departments. Students educated under the program over the years have graduated with excellent grades at GCSE, AS, A Levels and post graduate studies and now offer services at various institutes around the UK.
Though the Darul Uloom is still in its early years of operation, we aim to develop a reputation for excellence. Along with high academic standards, Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah aims to develop students to a high level of Sunnah behaviour, outlook and morals.
Students attending Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah gain firsthand experience of their future responsibilities serving the community by witnessing and participating in services to the community which are rendered by their tutors and mentors. This integration with appropriate ‘real-life’ responsibilities creates a sense of purpose to studies and maturity amongst students which lacks greatly amongst many in this era.
Darul Uloom Al-Amãnah currently operates two branches in the UK, one in Darlaston which caters for students in Birmingham and surrounding areas. The other is located in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. Both Darul Uloom's are currently operating from temporary premises. We are in the process of purchasing more purpose built properties to house Darul Uloom classes and further our services to the communities.
