- Whomsoever seeks authority before its time: becomes disgraced and his life passes in ignominy.
- Whenever the Deeni knowledge of a person does not prevent and dissociate him from Harãm actions, then this person is in grave danger.
- Whenever a (non-mahrãm) lady arises from her place (of sitting), do not sit thereupon until this place has ‘cooled.’
- Advising the famous Ibrãheem bin Ad’ham rahmatullahi alayh, Imãm Abu Haneefah rahmatullahi alayh stated, ‘O Ibrãheem! You have been granted ability to perform good deeds; it is therefore appropriate you continue to acquire Deeni Knowledge because, Deeni Knowledge is the root of devotion and the cause of progress.’
- A piece of bread, a cup of water and a set of clothes acquired with peace and dignity is an infinitely better proposition than any existence and bounties wherefore one has to suffer regret.
- In proclaiming the truth, fear none and nobody... should a person introduce some bid’ah (innovation) into Deen, openly publicize it, even though this person be prominent and command power, because in proclaiming the truth, Allah Ta'ala is your Helper and the Protector of His religion.
- Do not laugh in abundance; this deadens the heart. Whatever task you undertake, act with composure and dignity, do not act rashly.
- Make the Zikr of Allah Ta'ala in abundance... Whenever you hear the Azãn, hasten towards preparing for Salãh and the Masjid. After every Salãh, endeavour to recite the Glorious Qur’ãn and some Zikr for a while.
- Do not establish or maintain relationships with such people who are the slaves of their desires. However, for purposes of propagating Deen it is appropriate to meet and associate with them.
- Whomsoever seeks authority before its time: becomes disgraced and his life passes in ignominy.
